A Bit About Me

I am a licensed master-level social worker, certified Autism Spectrum Disorder Informed Professional, and mother of an adult child with special needs. My passion is helping families to build and and connect with resources that enable them to thrive when under the tremendous stress that threatens to overwhelm them when one or more members of the family has a mental health or neurodevelopmental diagnosis.

I view each client I see as both an individual and part of a unique family system, all of whom need support for them to thrive together. My goal is to help the identified client to strengthen the necessary skills to decrease problem symptoms and also assist them to identify and bolster their social support system.

Think of me as your mental health GPS. You tell me your destination (i.e. decreased anxiety, improved mood, better relationships with others, feeling more competent to manage the challenges life is throwing at you, etc.) and I will help you navigate towards that goal with you in the driver's seat. Where we go and how we get there are always up to you.

My own goal is to help you complete therapy feeling stronger, more confident in your abilities, more connected to your tribe, and armed with the resources you need to combat the many stresses of life as you go forward on your journey.
